When you click on the SHUTDOWN button, make sure to simultaneous press SHIFT Button.
If you hold the Shift key down while clicking on SHUTDOWN button, your computer would restart without restarting the Computer. This is equivalent to term "HOT REBOOT".

i hav a problm..
ReplyDeletediscretedisc error was displaying some times...........and system not booting along with an error mesg..........
c:/........./system32/ntosklm.exe
is missing,,,,,and when i try to format also the sys tem is not responding,,,....
when i put my xp cd aftr SETUP IS DETECTING YOUR HARDWARE INFORMATION screen it is takin a lot of time(5min) to display the next screen n while entered to formatting screen it was not responding .............wat to do????????
plz resolve this......................
when i am instalin quick heal (set up file is in the pendrive)it si asked for boot time scan.....i restarted............while scanin i forgot that setup file is in the pen drive and removed it..........i didnt saw the system for 10 min.
ReplyDeleteafter that wen i saw my system a wall blank screen with wall paper is appearin .............some error sounds are comin ............the task manager is also not comin......and no keys r shortcut keys are working..............
